Students shall provide training authorization letter to the instructor at the first class.
Students will be provided with a copy of the Albany County F. F. 1 Learning Agreement and Course Content Outline on the first night of class.
*NOTE: Fit tests are an annual requirement
All evening classes will be held from 1900-2200 hours unless changed by instructor
All Saturday and Sunday classes will be held from 0900-1200 hours and 1300-1600 hours.
Prerequisites:
Firefighter I: SCBA Qualified
Firefighter II: Firefighter I or Equivalent & S. C. B. A. qualified
Firefighter Survival: Firefighter I and SCBA qualified
Hazardous Materials Technician Basic: Hazardous Materials First Responder Operations of Firefighter I
Hazardous Materials Incident Command: Hazardous Materials 1st Responder Operations of Firefighter I
Incident Safety Officer: Firefighter I or Equivalent
Principals of Building Construction-Combustibles: SSO or Firefighter I or Equivalent
